error: invalid data dictionaries

Hello,

From an other firm I got a rvt file and when I try opening it I get this message:

Invalid data dictionaries.

And then I have to close and nothing happens.

I tried importing it and opening it in all the possible ways even through linking it in 3dsmax...

But nothing helps.

Can I do something or do I have to go to the sender?

I just want to know,

it is claimed that 

Status:No issue has been identified and the software is behaving as designed.

Workaround:The model will need to be recovered from a backup that can be opened successfully.

But my 19 backup files did not open! The same  "Invalid Data Dictionaries" message appears.

can you try to tick AUDIT before opening the file and see if helps? or share your file so we can check. thanks
