Tag Family Instances

How can you add individual asset tags to instances of the same family loaded into the same project file? 

For example an Asset/project file contains 68 of the same chair (all shown using the same Revit family) each individual chair shown needs to have its own Asset Tag, how can you add this Asset Tag to each individual instance of the family, but still using the one same chair family?

Create a Shared Parameter for the Asset info and then add it to the Chair family as an Instance Parameter

Then create the tag using the same Asset Shared Parameter

Use Mark or Comments parameter to enter instance Asset value.
