tag depth on elevaions,

hey all , i am asked to show depth marks on elevations, i have been looking to create a tag that reports distance of points from a given plane, i am having problems automating this does anyone have the same problems, or have you taged depth marks on elevations before ,please help, here is the request i received to match .

Revit only knows elevation tags. It has no functionality for depth in elevations/sections. Typically I would use dimensioned floor plans for this.

You might be able to do something with Dynamo. It has nodes that calculate "distance to" that can work in elevations.
