Tag a Linked IFC File

Hello

I can tag elements in a linked IFC file by making a tag using the IFC file's Shared Parameter file.  However, when I come to link another IFC file I have to load the Shared Parameter file again.  

Is there a way around having to load a Shared Parameter file for each linked IFC file?

That is the way Revit rolls unfortunately. There's a few threads on the Ideas Forum about it that you can support with your vote. Maybe it'll come about in our lifetime. 😉
