Survey Point / basepoint behaviour different in 2021?

So in 2019 I was able to move Project Base point about anywhere. 2021 ... I can't: it's limited to 16kilometers.

Moving survey point and using spotcoordinate (type setting to survey point) still reports to internal origin?

Or am I missing things here?

Ok. so they nerfed the projectbasepoint movement in 2021.

BUT spotcoordinate still doesn't work?  Screenshots show surveypoint as basepoint for coordinate ... still 1000 is shown.

Looks to me like the Survey Point Origin is located at the Project Base Point.  You must have moved the Survey Point while UNCLIPPED.

doesn't your last screenshot do exactly the same?

your (-6, -6) is relative to projectbase point NOT to survey point.

your tag should say (-11,-11). Right?

No, that's what I'm trying to explain to you. The tag's Coordinate Base is Survey Point  -- as pointed out in red -- meaning that it is referencing the Survey Point ORIGIN, which remained at the Project Base Point when I moved the Survey Pont MARKER.  Why did the SP Origin not move with the SP Marker?  Because I UNCLIPPED the Survey Point before moving it.   If I had left the Survey Point CLIPPED then the Marker + Origin would have moved together and the Tag would be reading -11, -11 -- not -6,-6.
