Surface Book Issues

i am using a surface book i7, 16gb, 512gb and am running dual monitors through the surface dock. My project size is 65mb which isnt obsurd, however when i switch to 3d views (especially with planting visible) it gives me the wheel of doom and sometimes crashes completely.
does anyone else have experience with this and are there any solutions or even work arounds to enable me to work more efficiently?
thanks

i would check the following:

1.  does the issue only occur when connected to an external monitor?

2.  can you update/change the driver of the graphics card?

3.  can you adjust the settings of the graphics driver?

4.  try enabling/disabling hardware acceleration within Revit

thanks for getting back so quick!

i am starting to wonder if i am expecting too much from my machine as i have gone through all of your suggestons and everything is as should be with exception to hardware acceleration which i have now turned off.

thus far it does seem better but i will need to test over a longer period but i am feeling that this may have helped!
thanks
