Subprojects vs copy monitor linked files

Hi, I have an Architectural file, a structural, an electrical and a plumbing file, each one created separately and linked with copy/monitor (link file) and have synchronized their grids and levels with my architectural file. Until there, everything is fine. If there is a change in one file, when I load another one it it gives a warning to update.

The problem is that when I created a central file and linked all the files into my central, I can see them all together, no problem, but how do I integrate this with my subprojects created (Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing and Structure). How do they interact with each other. I understand that with my subprojects I have a user assigned for each one, but isn't this the same with the owner of each file in the copy/ monitor?  There are no videos that show how to finish the process, what happens after I create the central with both topic (copy/monitor and subprojects).

How do I work with subprojects and linked files with copy/ monitor at the same time. Also there is an option with link to current project file in copy/monitor and don't know what is its use.  Little confusing all these. Can you help me please.  Urgent.

I would try copy monitoring only Levels and grids, not other elements unless I had a really good reason to do so (I usually don't).  Link all the files in a master files and close the Shared Levels and Grids workset of all the links, only keep the one of the Master file open.

If you insist on keeping the copied monitored elements across models, organize them by worksets so that you can close them to avoid overlapping geometries.
