sweep and reveal tools with oblicous lines and mansonry shaped walls

Hello
These are two separate questions in one topic, hope doesn't create much confusion.
Sorry in advance, english is not my mother tongue.

1. I want to create a wall reveal (or sweep it doesn't really matters), like in the attached image. The horizontal lines are easy but I'm having trouble figuring out how to change the inclination of the line from horizontal to perpendicular to the arc. Is it possible to do this with these tools? if not is there a way to do that other than 3d lines?

2. I'm trying to create a wall with a shaped form (see attached image) with the tool -fill in- and then joining the geometry i get the job done, but it looks more like a workaround than a real solution. every floor has different height and i have to adjust the height manually in each one of them with the extrusion command. Is there a way of making this irregular wall more "parametric". In the same topic, if i wanted to create a finishing layer like plaster or paint, how would i do that?

Sweeps will follow a model line too.

1.  You cannot use the Wall Sweep / Reveal tool.  Use the in-place model tool and draw the void sweeps or void extrusion to cut the wall.  If they are repeatable then you can create a wall/ face base family with voids as well.

2. If the wall is in fact filled entirely, like a pillar, then it's fine to use an in-place extrusion.  If it is hollow, like a chase, then you just need to draw the walls around the perimeter of the shape.

I would do the stone facade with reveals as a wall-based too, inclusive the arched window opening/stone surround. Do it for one wall/window section and copy it across in the project to the other window openings; then join 'em all to remove the visible edge between.

Regarding question 2; I'm not clear what you are asking.

Thanks for the help, but i still having some problem, maybe I'm not using the right tools. In architecture --> component --> model in place --> wall

I can draw the model lines where i need them to be, then i try using the void tool but once is finished, it says that nothing is cut. My guess is that even if its in the correct spot is not hosted to the original wall (or doesn't recognize the wall for what that matter) and therefore nothing to cut .

With the sweep tool or extrude tool i think i could get the work done just drawing one by one all the moldings, but it seems tedious and inefficient, while using the sweep or void tool along one model line would be ideal. I did also try to create a new wall (also tedious) for each hollow line by editing the profile in 3D, and then using the cut tool with the original wall, but it doesn't get the work done either because each small wall cut entirely through the original wall.

Although the opposite is also possible. I can draw a second wall for each of the moldings, with the desired width and then editing the profile in 3D. My problem, aside from the tedious work is that i will finish with 5 or 6 wall for each face of the original wall

Well. I use the component--> model in place --> wall. The i can draw whatever shaped wall i want with the height i want with the extrusion command, but it has some limitations, I would like to automate the height and i cant add up a plaster layer or a paint layer and in 3D the same material is applied on the top face while in with the wall tool the top face remains gray (im using the same materiel in both cases)

Also, the join tool works in the plan view but in 3D you still can see the separation line with the normal walls.

After draw the void, use Cut geometry to cut the wall with it WHILE you are still insude the in place editing mode.

That did the trick perfectly.

Thank you

This is the concept abbreviated. Stone facade family copied in Projects.
