Storefront System Recessed In Wall

I'm trying to figure out how to create a storefront system that is recessed inside of a concrete wall. I don't think I can create a storefront wall as it will create an opening in the wall. Below is a section view of the storefront system I'm trying to create.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Don't embed the storefront in the wall.  Use a void family to cut the wall recess where occurs.

Or, model 2 thinner walls, one without opening, the other with edited profile to fit in the curtain system, then join them.
