Stairs will not change materials.

I am rendering using enscape and only 1 of my 2 stairs will change to the material I need it to be. I have tried everything including going to the families and changing every stair element in my model to the material I need it to be. I have edited the type properties of the run in the stairs to the material I need it to be and it does not change. I have a switchback stair in the same model and same stair type that changed materials but the straight run one will not. Please help.

Is it a phasing issue? Is the one that's not changing from a previous phase and getting its material overridden?

No, their are no phases set up in this model
