Stairs - Tread Visibility

Hello

I am trying to make the last treat line of my stairs invisible (the lines circled on the photo attached)

my stairs are monolithic - concrete simple stairs , and i would like the last tread to be from the same material like the landing (now it's defined as marvel topping) *i assume the difference between the materials creates this line.. 

is it possible? or do i have to make them the same material for this purpose?
