Door - 'count in schedules' checked but grey?!

This scares the hell out of me, please help!

We have discovered a door that has the 'count in schedules' check box checked but greyed out?! The door does not show in schedules!

Why is it greyed out and why doesn't it show in the schedule count?

(I know this happens if you select several doors at the same time and som are checked while others are not, but in this case we only select the one door!)

This could prove costly for us if there are many such anomolies in the project!!

Open project paramaters, or open the door schedule, edit that parameter and tick the box "assigned to all instances of category".

Thanks Toan for the feedback but why is it so, I don't want to have the same mistake in future projects?

(Your solution doesn't really help because we don't want all the instances to be in the schedule.... 😉 )

Make the parameter available to all instances does not mean put them all in the schedule. It only means allowing the box is accessible to tick on or off for them. Your schedule filter dictates what to show or not by set to if the parameter is false then not show. Something like that.

Ah, OK, I understand however even thought the box is greyed I can already check it if I want?!

It looks like this now but doesn't show in the schedule:

But if I click on the box it isn't greyed anymore and suddenly shows in the schedule?

OK just a headsup incase anyone wonders, I talked to my Cad support and their answer was that: when the checkbox is greyed like that, it simply means that it is not checked.....?!
