Stairs: Notch visualization

Hi all,

I would like to know why I cannot visualize the precast stair notch in floor plan.

All stair subcategories are visible. No filters and correct View Range.

That's Revit's symbolic representation for you. No actual geometry is shown for stairs in Plan View.

Thanks for answer.
It is quite strange because it is possible to highlight the stairs run with consequently hidden line of the below beam.

as what @barthbradley said it was a Revit's symbolic representation. if you want, you can try to change the notch to straight cut. thanks

I understand.

I just do not know why the notch is visible in all views (e.g. sections - 3D) but not in floor plan.
