Stair Railing doesnt follow path correctly

Hey everyone, I am modelling a set of stairs with two runs and one landing mid way. My problem is that the solid rail that I added follows the stair geometry with an offset. I I cant figure out why its doing that because the railing profile doesnt seem to have any influence on that offset.

Any ideas what trick I'm missing?Railing offset.png

Because it is a rail, which is a profile sweeping along a path, so it is geometrically correct, just not what you want.  I Would use a curtain wall with edit profile in lieu of railing for such design.

Yeah thats what I was afraid of but I'll probably only have to make it once and copy paste it to the other stairs.
Still could be a thing to fix in future versions

Another way is to create each segment as a separate railing.

The offset of 1 step/tread is a must otherwise the rail might not pass safety standards...yours seem to have 2 x treads offset which is odd

Example using a Top Rail
