stainless steel ceiling reflection messed up

Can someone give me some input about how to fix the ceiling in the attached rendering? The material is satin stainless steel, and is getting too much of a reflection from the walls. I've tried changing the material to a solid color that has no reflectivity, but the same thing keeps happening. Are there any other materials that look like stainless I can try? Or any settings that I can change?

Sorry, I got cut short. 

Anyways, you can experiment with different materials and different assets. If you are on 2019, stick with those materials and assets that DO NOT have that triangle icon.  Rendering is mostly about finessing setting; trial and error. It can be an excruciating process somethings.   Once you got your material just right: Save it to your favorites folder! 

...don't forgot about the Exposure Control settings that you can play with post rendering
