Hello!
I'm making a wood ceiling family, and I'm trying to achieve a pattern similar to your average wood floor, where all the the members are the same width but the lengths are different (or, at least, to achieve a similar look, the joints are varied). It would be incredibly helpful to use a parametric array to control member width and spacing, but I'm not sure how to get the variety of length with an array. Any ideas? (and let me know if you need clarification on the question)

Haha! Alright, well, glad to know so I don't waste my time. I'll rethink my strategy.

You can create it using an adaptive family + a dynamo script to randomize the joint spacing. It is not easy but doable.
