square around spot elevation

Hello! 

I'd like to create a costum spot elevation with a square surrounding the spot elevation. I can't seem to manage! Anyone out there who can help me? 🙂

Wish I could have this appearance, but automatic. The square above is created by detail lines.

It' easy) Place any elevation mark, go to Edit and find this symbol in family list

Start editing family, add rectangle and test it in the project.
Or create new family in appropriate category

What about placing and Tagging Planting Families with or without the Leader/Arrowhead?

Hi,

Continuing what @denis_borodin  wrote, design a rectangle in this new family with the dimensions that you want like below

Attention! If you edit a Revit family in family editor you have to go to tab View -> Visibility/Graphics -> Annotation Categories Tab -> Check "Show annotation categories in this view"

• Load into project.
• Duplicate type of the spot elevation
• Choose as symbol the new family
• Text Offset from Symbol = 0
• Text Location -> Below Leader or Above Leader (If you use leader)
