split face

I "split face" in a family and saved it and got out of it.  know i want to undo the split face.

 

how do i undo it?

Windowing around it doesn't select it so you can delete it?  

 

Ah! I think I see what you are talking about. It doesn't remain highlighted, indicating that it is selected. Pressing delete still works though.

been a looooong time I had to undo a split face.  but I got it.

Yeah, it's strange that it doesn't remain highlighted blue so you know it is actually selected.  As soon as you select it with a crossing window, it returns to normal - even though it is still selected. Oh well, another "fix" for Autodesk to make. Maybe 2030. 😉
