Split a Floor into two floors (surface AND element at the same time)?

I don't believe there's a way to simply split a floor into two faces AND two elements at the same time. You see, I could of course copy/paste the floor into the same place and change their sketches, but the thing is, I have created the album and if I do so, a lot of dimensions in different views will be deleted and will be a lot of work to do again. And I don't want to use paint command since I already have the schedule and don't want to go through the filters , etc.

P.S. The reason I need this is to align the ceramics nicely to the room's walls.

Create Parts from the floor then Split Parts. You can assign different material and even thickness to different Parts when the floor remains intact.

How can I give a different thickness in the additional parts?

Several ways:
- different floor types and join them
- draw another layer on top or underneath and join them
- modify subelements to add points or lines and change their elevation
- create parts and turn on shape handle to increase/decrease thickness for each part

1. Select the Floor and then click on "Create Parts"

2. Select the layer which you want to change the thickness and check "Show Shape Handles"  (in the properties tab)

Hello!

This not work to split floor in other way, I mean that I would like to cut it in vertical direction, the best way would to have the split element tool that authorized to do it on floor like wall!
