Spandrel panel material not visible

Hi! I want to edit a window family to have an operable blue metal spandrel panel. I created a new extrusion with the metal material, but it is still not showing up in the model. Any help would be appreciated!

I see it in the model.  Assign the panel's geometry to a Material Parameter, reload into Project, and then, in the Project, associate that Material Parameter to a Project Material.

Change the view to Shaded.

Thanks, I tried that originally, is there something I'm doing wrong?

Make it a Type Parameter, reload Family into Project, find the Family in the Project Browser, right-click on it and press Type Properties then then assign a Project Material to the Spandrel Material Parameter.
