Spaces and SNU

Hi

Hoping someone can help here.

We have received an updated drawing from an architects where all the room numbers have been changed from the previous issue which we have linked into our model.

We have only recently discovered spaces and the SNU add-in and decided to implement this during this revision to save someone re-numbering each individual room to match the architects new numbering. However, we are having trouble with the SNU add-in in as much as it will not recognise the linked drawings room name and number.

I have searched for a solution and have drawn a blank so am hoping with far more experience can help!

The process I have followed is: Tag the room so the room name and number appears, add a space, launch the SNU and everything should work (it works fine on a separate model sent from the same architects - see below).

The linked model is marked as room bounding.

We have set-up worksets within this project, would this cause an issue with the SNU?

I have transferred the phasing project standards from the linked file and ensured the phase mapping is the same.

Another possibility I have looked into is that the architects model has floor finishes, would this effect the spaces? I have tried moving the offsets to match the linked models room but this still hasn't worked.

We are trying to produce a schedule of products in each room that corresponds to the new room numbering, without manually renumbering and renaming each room using the Room Tool (waaaay to time consuming) I cannot figure out a solution!

Appreciate any pointers!
