Hello All, 

 

can anyone tell me 

 

1-How to calculate topography volume with out using  cut & fill ?

 

2-How to Enable topography soil in  viewport without using Section Box ?

 

3-How to create Railways Tracks With out using Railling tools ?

About questions 1 and 2: those are the methods provided by Revit. I don't know about other methods.

About question 3: you could create families, or use other methods such as a beam system.

1. Cut & Fill is the method provided within Revit. You could use good old fashioned pencil and paper to calculate the average cut/fill of a bunch of grid areas and add them all up.

 

2. Section Box is the only way in a 3D view. But you can then hide the Section Box if you don't want it in the view. For Elevation and Section views, just make sure the extents of them fall within the topo boundaries

 

3. For something level, you could make a simple family. For something that follows topo, you're going to have to spend a lot of time learning.
