Site Designer 2017 - Streets not showing correctly

Hey,

I just started using the new version for Revit 2017 of the Site Designer.

I modeled a street using a chain of model lines. I selected the street to be at the same level as the Topography.

For some reason when it finishes modeling, the street is under the topography in varios areas, especially where the streets intersect.

The topography overlapping is the NEW (Proposed) Topography, meaning is the one I copied with the Site Designer from the one created with Revit tools. So the one that should not be overlapping with the street.

I tried modifying the topography by changing the elevation on some points but with no success.

Any suggestions?

Go to: Site Designer > Family Managers > Soft Terrain > New

Create a new family type with required dimensions of your street and give a small value for "Slope Projection Linear Increment" (Example: 100mm)
You can also decrease the "Slope Projection Radial Increment" to 5 degree for better accuracy.

Create soft terrain using your model lines making sure to check "Create A Copy", then use same lines to create your street.

Good luck!
