Simple wall connection

Hello,

How can I achieve this type of connection for walls? (It's simple brick wall)

@cadedu22

First Option: easy way is to duplicate and rename the Brick Common Material for the 120mm walls of the shaft. This way when you join geometry with the other walls, the material will not merge and you keep that join line which you have there

Second Option is to model the 4x 120mm Brick walls as a Hollow column with a nested detail item or added symbolic lines for the linework ie: this way even when material join you would still have the cut line at that join)

Third Option is to use the tool Cut Profile (Ribbon >>> View >>> Cut Profile)

Forth Option is to convert to parts >> Divide Part >> Exclude

Material duplication trick will do the work, that's neat feature to know about.

Kudos for so much options.
