Shared paramter issues

Hi.

Problem: notification "Row 1: Unacceptable list separator: ÿ" when inserting my door-family in my project.

Steps I took:
* Open door-family
* Manage > shared-paramters > created a group and category.
* Type properties > select paramter 'doorsize' > modify > change to shared parameter > selected the correct 'shared' parameter (the only one)
* save.

The .txt is created (see below)
# This is a Revit shared parameter file.
# Do not edit manually.
*META VERSION MINVERSION
META 2 1
*GROUP ID NAME
GROUP 1 30-door
*PARAM GUID NAME DATATYPE DATACATEGORY GROUP VISIBLE
PARAM 78209d3d-1cb3-4e51-87dd-ef7974608d0b doorsize LENGTH 1 1

Question: why do I get this notification and more important: how to get rid of it?

thank you.

You said you are changing an existing parameter to be a shared parameter by doing:
>* Type properties > select parameter 'doorsize' > modify > change to shared parameter >
That means that you are loosing the 'doorsize' parameter; you are not actually changing it. The error might be due to this missing parameter, which was probably required for Revit to make the door.
If you need a new shared parameter, you had better use the Add button, instead of Modify.
