I am wondering what others have found is the best practice for this situation. I am working on an existing church, we have 2 options that both remodel part of the existing building and add an addition.
I can't figure out how to get the design options and phasing to work nicely together. My plan had been to do away with phasing for now and just set up the design options until an option is chosen, then deal with phasing. The problem is I need to remove different walls within the existing building depending on which design option I am working on. So I tried to add the walls/windows/doors etc that will be effected in either option, but it looks like I can only add these components to one option or the other. Certain parts of these options will be removing the same walls/windows/doors etc, other areas will be removing different walls/windows/doors etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest and quickest way to do this? (I have a 2 day deadline to get this done). I have a feeling it is going to be separate Revit models unfortunately...
I am using Revit 2017 as I know Design options work differently in this version than previous versions
Thanks in advance for your help!
