Hello everybody,
I have currently met a Problem with my Revit model. Recently I cannot work on my file anymore nor through the Cisco Server connection nor on my alias local copy, since a message appears regarding a problem with the Server Connection. I excuse myself if my question has already been posted, I have quickly researched on the forum but could not really find out a solution to my problem.
I have also contacted the Bim manager, we checked that the server connection works and that apparently what is missing is the right path to the server inside the Revit software, in fact, if I open the window „Manage connection to a Revit server accelerator“ under the collaborate menu, there is a red cross and no path, and if I try to write it still not working.
I checked also the Firewall with the IT Assistant but unfortunately is not a problem connected to the firewall.
Can anybody give me feedback in this regard? What should I check in order to find out where the real issue lies?
Also, this is my first shared project with other teams which I am doing through a server, but I still do not understand why I cannot work on my local copy. If the problem is linked to the server connection failure, shouldn´t I in theory be able to work on my local copy? I tried to work both with the cisco on and off since actually, the server works well, but in either case, I cannot work on my local copy.
I will attach some images as references.
Thank you for any comments and feedback you might have,
Best regards to all
