want to create a septic tank with soak pit family to use it in different drawings

please any help how to start or create such family

depends on how complex is required geometry, if this is just rectangular cast-in-place tank, maybe better to model it just w/ walls and floors. If you want to create a family, you can start w/ searching already existing free families (ex. https://www.arcat.com/bim/divs/33-333600-arcat.shtml ) and then update it per your needs. Also, you can share some cut sheets to depict us how complexly is required geometry.

Just curious to know: why you’re modeling this and not doing it schematically and calling out to construction details? Do you model and excavate the topography, and the infrastructure piping as well?
