Selection in my Revit 2017 is too precise

Hi! I have a problem selecting items in Revit 2017. Since i've changed mouse, passing from a Logitech's 1000 DPI one to a 4000 DPI Mad Catz R.A.T. 1,  my selecting precision changed. Now I have to select nearly the exact line or object, slowing down every work, even the simpliest (and making me crazy!). Snap have the same problem. Polar changed too, now is harder to make orthogonal lines. I've also noticed that SPLIT symbol (the little perpendicular line) now is smaller then before, almost invisible. My impression is that Revit "thinks" that i'm drawing in an higher resolution then real mine. Nothing solved uninstalling and reinstalling Mad Catz driver's or changing its settings. Do i have to install Revit again? Waiting for answers!

Can you switch the DPI from the mouse or the software?  I have a Logitech G602 Gaming mouse and it has buttons to switch from 2500 DPI to as low as 250 DPI.  Not that I have any problems with either DPI though.

Yep of course I can switch DPI, but this has not solved the problem. The only result is that my mouse sensitivity falls down, without changing the selection precision. Moreover going back to previous mouse nothing change, remaining the same absurd precision. Thanks for answer!

Does changing the Windows mouse setting (control panel -> Mouse -> mouse options -> Pointer options) 'Enhance pointer precision' (toggle ON/OFF) make any difference?

no, nothing happened, i've tried yesterday. If there was something like the "aperture size" option in AutoCAD, even by modifing a log file...

Can you test the mouse on another computer with Revit?

My thoughts exactly ("aperture size"). Have checked already. not the Obvious Commands or settings available.

The Split line however is a very small line for me also which gets bigger when zooming in en smaller zooming out. So fixed length.

Have checked Revit setting, Revit options, no luck.

Is revit completely updatet with the latest updates/service packs?

No solution, i've just formatted my PC (for other reasons) and reinstalled
everything but nothing changed. I'm almost resigned by now...

It's useless to change mouse, in fact trying the old one nothing changes,
as I already sayd. I've also tryied a third one (1600 DPI), unsuccessfully.

I don't think it's the problem of mouse or DPI.

Maybe edit the value of Snap increments will be help.

if useless, you could try to separate your steps. Draw a line nearby, zoom in, and then drag the line head fix it.
