Selecting issues

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen.

In our office, we have been discovering that if we want to select a linked unit plan via select all in view. It picked up all unit plans in all levels in the site model plan.

I want to delete the linked unit plan on 1st, 2nd level, then select the ground floor level unit to copy and paste it to levels but it keep selecting the units on other levels....

The levels are corrected, VR in plan and we have been using the same templates for years.

We are getting frustrated with it and we are hoping that you guys can help us out

TIA. Niall O'Connor

Links per Level?  So you are using Links like Groups?   Why don't you Bind the Link to convert it to a Group?

...wait a minute. Are you talking CAD Links inserted by Current View Only?

...HA! I've re-read your post a couple of times and I'm still scratching my head.    If you have a Linked Project, you cannot limit selection set to view only.  If you have a Linked CAD - that is NOT inserted "By Current View Only" - you cannot limit selection set to view only.   Instead of deleting, what about hiding in view?

Make sure the unit link does not have any part sticking up beyond the level above and below.
