hello everybody,

I wanna make a mirror of several sections but as a reference to the original ones. how could I do that in Revit or dynamo to all the sections at the same time? when I select one section to mirror the " reference other view " command is closed.

You have to do it before placing the section ...not after you place the section. ie: go to view >> section >> check the box reference other view >>> select the view to reference >>> place the section on the view

Those when you select later you can change the view in the drop down menu

Thank u for your reply @RDAOU . but I know this I meant I've already sections drawn in the sheet, I wanna make a copy mirror of them all together as a reference to the original 😞 I thought there is a solution using dynamo or any add-in.

Apologies, I was replying to the highlighted statement of your post.

It basically could be done using dynamo, however, you will need to define in Revit where the SIM section would be placed.. ie: unless you have something Dynamo can use as reference to place the sections, you would need to place model or detail lines in Revit... in such case just placing the SIM sections directly in Revit is the better option

I would be glad to help you with the graph but unfortunately I cannot do that during office hours 🙂 The dynamo forum is https://forum.dynamobim.com/  maybe someone is free there to help you with that

Have you try view reference? You can create section look with view reference and can mirror the object. I find this to be more robust and flexible. Attached is sample I've created.
