Hello everybody, Does anybody know how I can fix the issue I have with this section head. The highlighted section angle partly covers the annotation. I do not want this.
Is their a fix Other than turning off one end and turning the other end on?
Yes there is a way to fix. Edit the Section Head and put the Label back where they are by default, which is to the left of the "Right" vertical Ref. Plane.
When you modify the section head family in the Family Editor, the right vertical reference plane is used as the insertion point. All labels and linework for the section head need to be on this line in order to be inserted properly.
Cheers are you able to send a screenshot of what you mean.
Below in red is the family editor, I know where the origin is. Great tool call Pyrevit can put that in as a crosshair for you as don't seem to be able to turn it on in vis graphs.
Still won't play ball. I left the cross hairs in that Pyrevit puts in in case you wondered what those crosshairs are.
?
Section labels are always horizontal so I would keep the label to show view/sheet number only. View names are long and will interfere with the marker when the section is at an angle.
There is a reason the OOTB section mark has the pointer rotating around a circle and the labels fit inside that circle.
