Section Tag Text and its position

Finally a Revit template is on it's way. All good so far, until section lines!

I have edited the section head to look as we want/ use. However for some unknown reason to me the text is automatically flipped on the 'tail' tag. The family is the same for both as the actual fill seems to rotate and function as needed (See attachment).

It's really odd the text also rotates as needed but just on the wrong side. Any work around? I've tried to create a second family for the tail with the text flipped but this only seem to make things worse as the text ended up inside the fill.

HELLLLLLLLP!

The problem isn't rotating the text to match the section line. I'm happy with the text staying correct on the page.

The weird problem is why one side of text shows above the line and the other below?

Any thoughts?

Try doing a save-as of the Section Tail family. Move the Label where it should go (above the tail).

Load into project, then apply the new Section Tail to the Section Type. Any luck?

It's working.

For some reason mirroring isn't enough.  The space between the text and tail marker has to be much bigger than the opposite side, otherwise it overlaps the marker.
