Scheduling IFC Parametrs

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to make use of some of the IFC parameters that come though in an import into Revit?

I can see lots of great data in the properties of an IFC imported object but I cannot find a way to schedule it. Any suggestions?

Hi,

You mean when a IFC is linked in a Revit project?

The parameters are added as Shared Project parameters by the IfcImporter.

There should also be a file generated with the RVT: <IfcName>.ifc.sharedparameters.txt

Use this to create the needed shared parameters in the Host project file.

The use schedule as normal with "Include elements in links" on.

As long a you leave the <IfcName>.ifc.sharedparameters.txt where is and reload a updated IFC it should use the same shared parameters I think (never tested)
