Hi! I'm trying to figure out how to join walls and floors properly. I kind of want the finish layers to "meet". You can actually "cheat" it by painting the structural surface, however it leaves a line which is visible not only in 3D view but also in 2D. Please see attached photo for reference.
Are those actually floor and walls?
Anyways, here's some bedtime reading for you. The good part is at the end. SPOILER ALERT: Boy and Girl live happily ever after.
Yeah I guess this is the only solution. It sucks though because you have to do it in every view.
Have you tried unlocking the finish, and just extending it along the floor?

Hi
Thanks for the tip but I usually try to model the Finishes as separate layer to have more control e.g. around window, joinings.
That is exactly what I'm doing. That "wall" and "floor" is supposed to be a 25mm plaster with a thin layer of paint. That pic demonstrates how I treat wall openings, basically a "floor" for the sill, "walls" on the sides and a "ceiling" for the upper part. The problem is you can't clean join a floor and a wall, it leaves a line when joined. Anyways, linework seems to be the only solution as far as I know.
