Hi guys,

How would I create this kind of schedule so that I can use as Notes. I know I can copy this it's just I want to know how to create one.

Please see attached a picture.

Thanks.

Hi barthbradley,

What I want is a note block that I can manually write things on it. The video you sent was really informative but the thing is that was automatic. I want to create custom notes that aren't linked/smart so that I can write there manually whatever I want and just place it on sheet. Basically I'm more interested on the visual continuity for the notes rather than anything else.

Thanks.

Bit of a workaround:

1) Create a new note block/schedule out of anything.

2) Add 1 field which will contain no data to the schedule. You can create a project parameter for this one if you want.

3) Use the Insert Column, Insert Row, & Merge Unmerge tools to create the rows & column you want in the HEADER of the schedule.

4) In the appearance tab for the schedule untick "Show Headers".

You should be good to go. A bit of trial & error to get the column & row widths/heights correct on the sheet.

Alternatively, you can enter all the data in excel and use an add-in to transfer it across to revit.
