Save Camera Position in View

I want to create multiple diferent 3D views for some assemblies, but i don't want to create a view and then set the position of the view always new. Is there a way to save the Camera position in a viewtemplate ?

Example i want to create a new assembly view that shows the bottom corner of a Assembly. When i click create a new 3D view its always the top right corner of the assembly.

Create a 3d view. Using the view cube, set the desired point of view. Then find the dropdown menu (lower right side of cube), and select "Save current view as home". All next 3d views will begin from that point of view.

I tried the solution of the linked answer and it is still not working for me. I created a camera and made a new template from this view

i then asigned the newly created template to the 3D view Type.

but when i created a new 3D view with this template all i got was the standart 3D view

That is different from what you said in the original question, to which my answer applies correctly.

ahhh then i have to excuse my poorly worded question. Your answer would be correct if i had one view position. But i have two diferent positions i want to show in a 3D view. Normaly i would have to create the view and then manualy set the desired view region / direction. I wantete to ask if i can combine the rotation of the 3D view to the template so when i create 2 different 3D views i can change the angle they have to the element with the viewtemplate.

No, the home position of the view cube is not part of the settigns that can be saved in a  view template.
