Same Material Drafting Cut Pattern not Aligning between 2 Walls

I have a bit of an odd graphics issue.

I have 2 walls that are stacked on top of each other and the plywood pattern for the sheathing is not aligning between the 2 wall types. The material is the same for both elements and the thickness and locations are the same as well as the function and location in the wall assemble structure.

I have restarted my Revit and my computer, remade the section, turned on and off hardware acceleration but to no avail.

From my understanding, drafting patterns originate at the project origin so they should always line up if you are looking at 2 elements with the same properties and orientations.

Check:

Manage Tab > Additional Settings > Fill Patterns > Click on the pattern causing issues > Edit fill pattern (Small pencil below) > At the bottom, Make sure Orientation in host layers is 'Orient to View'

That doesn't help as then the pattern does not function properly in plan if it is switched to "Orient to View". There should be no issues with the the pattern set to align with element since the. The rigid insulation  (crosshatch) pattern right next to the plywood pattern works.

Please copy the two walls along with the stacked wall to a new project and share the file.

I have coped the 2 offending walls in the same orientation to a new project using the default autodesk metric template and the issue is still happening.

As stated earlier, I need the pattern to be set to align to element and not orient to view so that the pattern follows the element no matter the direction of the wall.

Apologies for the late reply. I checked the file. The issue is that the plywood hatch has the arrow-like line going in both directions, which causes issues when the wall thicknesses are different. As you said, orient to view wont work as it behaves incorrectly in plan. But when 'align with element' is selected, revit assumes different start points for different sizes of elements. I think this is what is causing the issue.
One workaround is to use a simple slanted line hatch, but it wont give the 'wood' effect when cut.

Its just weird because It seems that when you have it set to align with element it uses the element thickness to set the origin of the drafting pattern.

If autodesk made it so that the origin for all drafting patterns no matter what was always at the internal project origin or even project base point then the issue would disappear, it would align in all situations an rotations.
