RPC's are not working in Revit Architecture 2017

I just installed Revit 2017 from 2015, so I loaded a previous project to see the new rendering capabilities and none of the trees or people are rendering, In fact most of them just show as blocks or cubes. I even loaded a new project and new families straight from the 2017 templates folders and I still get the same results. I believe it has to do with running previous versions of Revit on the computer, yes I installed 2017 before removing 2015 I've attached files to help clarify things

You need to copy again your entire RPCs library in REVIT 2017.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\2017\assetlibrary_base.fbm\RPCs

If you don't have the RPCs folder... create one and copy-paste all content

Then everything will be alright.

Then maybe:

That's because Archvision did not release the 2017 version of their products compatible with Revit 2017....

for the current 2016 release and its predecessors see THIS LINK HERE

I forgot to mention that im just using the stock RPC's that come with revit. it seems to me that the link in revit is somehow broken to the location of the files. or maybe it has to do with the registry of the computer...im working on windows 10.

Try reloading all the RPC trees from the 2017 library...

I just tried it with my 2017 (on Windows 10) and it works just fine.

I uninstalled Revit completely and reinstalled and not its saying "rendering feature are currently disabled. you must install the rendering library to use rendering features"

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Revit 3 times since then including everything associated with Revit and i still get this message...

Sounds like your material libraries are not getting installed.

go to:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...

or... are you installing REVIT 2017 connected online?

because for all libraries to be downloaded you need to be connected.

don't use firewall...

I am not sure what you mean by "You need to copy again your entire RPCs library in REVIT 2017" copy what again? I copied it, now what?

The library is in this location already C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\2017\assetlibrary_base.fbm\RPCs

I don't need to create it.

The trees show up as gray blocks.

Please help!
