I would like to know how to change the shape of the crop boundaries to be round.

Can someone help me here?

Thanks!

You can use Edit Crop to get the Boundary close to round.

Doesn't look like you have that feature with 3d view. However you can overlap drafting view with 3d view. First create drafting view.

drafting view.png

Create masking region with circular hole

create fill region.png

Placed the drafting view to the 3d view

add crop to sheet.png

Edit the drafting view masking region and draw in area you want to cropped.

edit crop.png

As a result the 3d will be cropped.

@glkirk

As @syman2000 mentioned that is not possible for 3D view... we use a Generic Annotation with a FILLED Region and stretchable grips/handles to re-frame 3Ds on sheets

Attached is a simplified version of it I had uploaded on a different post place on the sheet and adjust length and width parameters ... I will try to forward the other one once I get to my destination (I did upload it here on the forum too just can't find that post to re-download)
