Rotating a revit parking space component

I am trying to place the revit parking space component in my site. I have a 90 degree parking component that works great but when i cant place a 180 degree component. U tried creating a duplicate type and changing it to 180 degrees but it gives me an error when doing so. Is there any other to create a parking component for 180 degree spots/

What you show is not 180 degree, but still 90 degree parking.  180 is parallel parking (google it if you don't know what parallel parking is).

Just use Rotate tool in the project to rotate the parking.

When you go to place it, what happens if you hit the spacebar key on your keyboard?  Otherwise if you go into the family and add some functionality to it, after you place it so you can rotate it in some way. Try adding a couple flips to it.

When you hit the space, it only mirrors the component. There also wasnt any function i could add in the families to allow the component to rotate in the way i wanted it to.

Why can't you just use the rotate tool as said above?

Even with the rotation tool the object remains vertical.

When you rotate it: Tick Disjoin, Untick Constrain, Untick Copy from the option bar.
