Is it possible to rotate a project witch is work on progress with all components (incl. references) without demolishing the Model?
Hello @BozkurtKor ,
I would try entering Project North to change the orientation to True North. If you would like only to rotate the orientation of the views, the best option will be to rotate the crop region.
Best regards,
Karolina
Hello
Rather than rotating the project, updated True North.. Fixing True north doesn't affect any 3d or 2d components in the file.
Tricky is when you change the Project north, This would not affect the 3D components or the tags associated with the elements, but anything else apart from 3D , like 2D lines, 2D hatch, detail components , all of those will mess up. but its worth fixing it and move it forward in correct direction.
You can even consider linking your current project into new, fix the project north etc and once everything works fine, convert the link Revit ( BIND link ), but this will require you to recreated all the floors plans, elevations , annotation from the scratch.
Are you wanting to work in Project model views that are rotated? If so, use Scope Boxes.
