Room tag under carpet and not visible

i have structural floor and on top of it architectural floor ...like carpet  or tile

and when i place toom tag, it goes between them and i dont see it

when i delete carpet  or tile then i see room tag

is it possible to place room tag to architectural floor surface coating.

Yes, it is important to make your floor not higher than the corresponding level. It will cause a lot of troubles. Door swings invisible and so on. If you really want a separate level for your structural floor, create two levels.

 

-One is the top of your architectural floor

-Second is the top of you structural floor

-Create floorplans from the level which is the top of your architectural floor

-If you make the levels a different type, you can filter them in elevations/sections.

if computation height is changed by architectrual floor height then room tags are visible
