Room Tag Parameters

I'm trying to add a Show Wall Finish parameter to my room tag. I have a label linked to the room's Wall Finish parameter, so that works fine. And I made a family parameter "Show Wall Finish" similar to "Show Area" or "Show Volume," but the checkbox in the Type Properties for Show Wall Finish doesn't turn that on or off on the Tag like it does for area or volume. Suggestions? Is there a conditional statement I need to add to the parameter?

In the tag family you have to link the label to the visibility parameter (Show Wall Finish)

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Show Wall Finish.pngThis may be stating the obvious, but have you associated your "Show Wall Finish" Yes/No parameter to the corresponding Label element? Just covering the basics first.

Hard to make a suggestion without reviewing the tag family.

Did you make the Wall Finish label by copying the Area label and forgot to change the linked parameter to the visible property of the label?
