Hello

I looked for another solution to my roof problem, I found a Revit roof modeling file I would like to add it (attachment file). So basically I have 2 questions:

1. How to replace the generic existing with this model type? I opened it in my file and tried the Match Type Properties. I also saved the file as Family file. I didn't know how to put it in my file.
2. How to model it in my file if I don't have a previous roof?

How about you leave it where you are, close out of the in place mass, save the file and share it? I will see why you keep getting the error.
