Glass Sphere or Dome

Hello, 

I'm having trouble attaching the curtain system on an in-place mass (in this case a sphere or a dome). 

No matter what I do, after the selecting the faces where I need the curtain system to be placed, Revit interprets my selection as the single pane in between rather than the sphere or dome form. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

What is the size of the sphere compares to the curtain system grid?  below is a 60' diameter sphere with 10'x10' max grid.
