No can do. But, for a few more thousand dollars a year...

 

In the mean time, model and group and array.

Not by the Truss tool.  But you can always build it manually using structural framing members.

You can draw roof trusses using AutoCAD + Revit LT Suite, but Revit LT cannot create true parametric trusses like full Revit. Here’s how it works in practice 👇

 

1. Roof Trusses in Revit LT

Revit LT does NOT have the Truss Tool (that’s only in full Revit).
But you can still model trusses manually.

How to do it in Revit LT:

Option A: Model with Structural Framing

  1. Go to Structure → Beam
  2. Draw:
    • Top chord
    • Bottom chord
    • Web members (diagonals/verticals)
  3. Use Reference Planes to keep geometry accurate
  4. Group the members to reuse the truss

Good for: 3D visualization, coordination, basic layouts
Not parametric, slower for large projects
