Hi everyone,
I tried to solve this roof in Revit and have a problem with how to approach highlighted spots. Jog in center and roof saddle on the right. Attaching a screenshot from Autocad and another one from what I have in Revit. Will greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you

Separate roofs at higher plate heights joined to main roof via Join Roof Tool.
Post the DWG and/or RVT. We can show you how to approach.
...If that suggestion of mine is nowhere near what you are talking about - which just might be the case - definitely post the file or a fuller explanation.
Thant's right: Separate roofs at higher plate heights joined to main roof via Join Roof Tool.
But when I try to join with roof joint tool it doesn't let me
I don't why it's failing - unless the roof is missing/overshooting the target.
Post the file. Let's take a look.
here is the file, hopefully it will give better presentation of the problem. Thank you
Take a look at this one and see how I did the roofs in one roof using Offset from Roof Base method.
Wow that is exactly what I need! What an amazing help. I didn't know I can create it with one roof method and offset. Thank you!
You're welcome.
Did you figure out how it was done? How the magic happens? It's not readily apparent. Edit roof sketch and note the very, very short line segments (no define slope on them) that connect all the offset roofs to the main roof.
Good luck. Catch you later.
Thank you for bringing to my attention those little lines, I didn't notice them right away and it was affecting the result! also, I did get an error message after clicking ok and one bigger portion of the roof wasn't seems not joined but when I pressed ok and deleted it under was perfectly joined roof! Revit is so much about tiny details. Thank you for sharing, I will use this method moving forward it is so convenient. Is it something else I have to watch for during that process?
Do you think you also can help me with the way to create a roof saddle? shown on Autocad drawing? I circled it on Revit screenshot as well. Thank you
I don't understand what condition or non-condition you are referencing.
This area?
I didn't model it right yet- the elevator shaft walls should go higher and then to avoid accumulating water I need to create a roof saddle as shown on Autocad drawing in the first post in this area.
You mean like this?
I just put the roof back where it was originally and Attached the Walls to it. Had to make some minor adjustments to Walls though.
yes! and then where two walls of this shaft that we don't see here attached intersect roof I need to model roof saddle similar to the pic.
Do you have full Revit? If so, model the cricket as a flat roof and use Modify Sub-Element tools to shape it.
If not, just use the Join Geometry tool to join a sloped roof to the Main Roof.

If that solves for you, please mark my post as another accepted solution. Okay?
Thx.
