I'll start by saying that 95% of my revit work is MEP so i have limited architectural knowledge having only completed an introductory course.
I've been trying since yesterday to intersect these roofs, the main roof was created by an extrusion as it was an odd shape.
I then created a roof by footprint and now want to intersect them, trimming the the roof currently hanging into the loft space.
Join does not work (says they are joined but do not intersect). Dormer, vertical voids etc... also don't seem to work. I tried modelling an in place void but couldn't get to the correct elevation to draw the extrusion.
I'm probably doing something wrong here, but could anyone more architectural offer any advice on how to intersect these properly?
Many thanks.
