Roof Cutting

Hi all,

Small issue... I think.

Having troubles with cutting excess off a roof (marked blue). As you can see in the red circle below, the roof is going inside. How do I go about fixing this?

What you'll do is actually model the roof short, then use the join/unjoin roof command(Modify Tab) and it will extend the roof over over.

Use Roof Join tool to cut the main roof with the left roof. Use Dormer tool to cut the main roof with the right dormer roof. 

Or use Vertical opening to cut the roof manually.

Looks to me like Interior Walls that aren't attached to a ceiling or roof.  Either change the Walls' Top Offset or attach to roof via Attach Top/Bottom tool.
